all ducs are beautiful bikes. im trying to upgrade from my f4i and want a 600rr or 636 but ive also been checkin out ducati 748's and 749's. You can find some decent ones for around 5k and i loooooooove the 748/916/996 etc design thats what made me fall in love with ducatis to begin with but the more modern design of the 749/999 really wets my appetite too. I wish i could afford an 848 or 1098...one of these days....one of these days. I just wish i had the money to throw around on parts and repairs for those things, thats the only thing im questioning about buying one while im still in school.

I like them so much I put the tail on my F3. Check my thread in the streetfighter section...

There was a 1098 for 4k on craigslist in Nebraska that I inquired about (who wouldn't...) but it seemed shady, obviously, so I didn't. The world may never know how close I got to owning a 1098.

Looks are very subjective, but personally I don't think the 748's are as pretty as a 600rr.

I was getting a tire pressed on a couple months ago and there was one sitting in the dealership in pearl white. It was BEAUTIFUL, and felt great ergonomically - I guess my problem is I just can't justify spending 10k on a used bike when you could get a used 1000RR for half that.

Ducati -turning riders into mechanics for nearly 100 years.

These bikes are very very smexy. I've been over them ever since I started reading about the release date waayyy back when. Duc have always been expensive but I guess it is really worth it due to craftsmanship and not to mention they come stock with Brembo, Showa etc. If the RR's came stock with that setup imagine how much more they would cost.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to the bathroom with my tissue...

Monster 848R Corse doesn't exist, but hasn't stopped someone from doing a rendering - this has been my PC's desktop @ home for a while:

I'd love to own this thing:
