I hear you man... when you ask an officer to do something, you get a ticket thrown at you! I'm still fighting a ticket a cop wrote me because he claims I admitted to a traffic violation... NO EVIDENCE EXCEPT FOR THE POLICE REPORT and I still have to go to court over it. Some of them, are indeed, bastards. Not all of them though. I have had very good experiences in the past.

 

I dont know why some of you jump all over him for only having one plate. Yes they send you two. But some states do not require it. Such as Arizona.

I dont know, its a stupid law, and am willing to bet alot of you on here only have the rear plate on (as do I)

Even if you go to car dealers out here they only have the liscense plate frame mounted on the rear. No holes drilled in the front bumper. And they only put temp tags on your rear. But you still get sent two plates.

Bottom line the cop shouldnt have a bitchy attitude for no reason. Im sorry snowboarding82 asked him to do his job. signing off the ticket doesnt require a whole lot of him.

 

But if your going to get a ticket signed off why wouldn't you put both on. I know here in CA. they require two but I only got one when I bought the truck and thats the way I run it until I get a fix it ticket and when I do Im sure not going to have a tail light out when I go to get it signed off. I will make sure all is well....

These are simple laws that 90% of all people know about. Im sure he knew he needed both...

 

dont kno about other states but inCA its 2 plates EXCEPT where you cant put a front one on i.e no mounting brackets or drilled holes in CA i have a dodge SRT-4 neon and thers no spot for a front and i got pulled over for my limo tint in the front 0=) and the cop didnt care. also if you put it in the front window its visible therfor legal.

 

Don't try that in NJ, it will not work, lol

 

thats why i dont live back east lol besides that i dont think snow and my driving style and bike would mix well lol
