I had been thinking about selling my Bike to get a dream car, But now I cant wait to go for a ride, and see if It's really worth getting rid of.
I just want to say thank you! I feel like this post is the most important post of my life. My success in life will most likely come down to this post. My failures in life, will always be on me. "some times its worth the risk of fail"
We had this similar question on another forum so I shall say what I said there ...
We all get these feelings from time to time, a need to just pick up and be somewhere else ... sometimes if we can get away for a while we are satiated and enjoy getting "home" again, now there is the rub ..if you don't view where you are as "home" you will never settle, sometimes our higher self or spirit is telling us we need to get away too ... so, if this is anything more than just a desire for a break and more like a deep seated need to get away from somewhere you don't feel is home, a longing to be elsewhere then sometimes it is worth listening to that inner voice .. I did, I changed where I lived and my whole carreer in my mid 20's, it was scary and hard for a while but I would never go back :-)
Something else to think about, sometimes, just sometimes it's worth the risk of fail ... otherwise you may spend your life never knowing and regretting when you maybe had the chance ...
if you are young with no siblings to worry about, it can be worth a chance but I will also say if you are going to do something this drastic, take a decent holiday first and see how you feel when you get back, sometimes the grass is not always greener :-)

Sometimes you have to fail in order to understand what success is. I think that is why when we look at someone elses' life all we can see is their sucesses, so we don't understand the journey its taken to get there.
We look at a family in a nice home with new cars and toys in the garage without realizing at one point the couple lived in a rented motorhome and fought over the last morsel of food three days before payday.
Or the three lovely children and not recall the couple suffering through multiple misscarriages, premature deliveries and childhood illness.
Or falling flat on their face financially and struggling through the toughest times imaginable...
And emerging at the other end of the journey to make that "perfect" looking family photo.
Only those in the picture knows what it took to get there. Success can only be enjoyed when you have suffered failure.
