DMV circle test.

RE: DMV circle test.
When I took my test here in GA several years ago, they made me accelerate along a line as fast as I could toward three red lights (one in the middle and one on either side of me). Then the evaluator would trigger one of the lights to come on. If it was the middle one, I was just supposed to come to a complete stop. If it was the right/left light I was to swerve to that side and stop. The first time I tried it she didn't activate any of the lights so I just came to a stop at the end of the track. When I went back around to ask her what happened she said she was testing me to see if I would anticipate the light and swerve to one side. That was a fun test now that I think about it!

RE: DMV circle test.
Bit different in Aussieland 20 years ago. Get L plates and ride around for 3 months. Actual test a part knowledge based and the practical was on normal road Behind registry. Emergency stop, trip around the block and travel at walking pace without putting foot on ground. At that time they must have figured that if you survive Sydney traffic for 3 months then your about good enough to get your license.

The circle test is really easy if you can do skitching cirlces at 2-5mph... i can do circles on the side of my bike at those speeds with my leg extended and not leaving the spot...
its pretty dope..
keep your bars straight and lean the bike right (they do right hand uturn tests here FOR SOME ODD REASON...) but left or right, put it in second cause it idles at perfect speed, and practice like that...
I got a scotts dampner though, so iunno if that helped at all...
