Yea, depend on the situation. Court fees arent too bad.

 

So what was the outcome?

 

Well it cost me $190 with fees and a fine. I guess I will live. When I had a court date I figure I would get to talk to the judge about what happened. Turns out there was about 15 people in the same court room and they called you up one by one and you either pleated guilty or not guilty. If you said not guilty they gave you another court date otherwise he just said blah blah blah you owe this amount of money, pay the lady down stair, bye. I was like what the hell? I drove 3 hours for that? Why couldn't they just give me the fee and I would send the money to them? So it cost me probably $50 in gas, and about $120 for the money I will not make at work for not being there. What a bunch of a$$ holes if you ask me. Also the judge ask me a question and by mistake I said "yea" and then corrected myself very fast and said "yes." (you need to say yes or no) And the judge went off on me!!! He said, "DONT YOU EVER SAY THAT IN THIS COURT ROOM AGAIN! WE ARE IN A COURT HOUSE!!!" Im sorry but everybody makes a mistake gezz. Judge had no respect for anyone.... thats the problem with this country.

 

Yeah .. They alway shave the mentality that they are superior above allt he rest .... But you got off pretty well.

 

I was reading in the NYT on monday the issue with all the small village courts that had judges who werent laywers and have been ****in up imposed illegal fines jailing people for bs and generally doing retarded things...lol
