You got off cheap. We are over twice that for my son's high side at CMP back in October. Still not sure exactly how much the helo ride was though..............

they had me wearing the backpack thing and the sling, my local ortho was shocked they had me wearing the sling too. My x-rays right after it happened, the 2 pieces were near in line but a few days later when I had x-rays taken locally the sling had wedged the outside piece of bone underneath the inside piece so they were overlapping a half inch. Instead of it healing normally its still overlapped a bit and I have a visible lump where they're overlapped.

Oh btw ive been digging through all the bills and its gonna be at least twice the 10k i originally posted

but before i got in the army i got hurt and my bill was $8000 i didnt have insurance so i called them up and said i dont have that kind of money and what i could do to settle this and i got it down to like $600 you might want to try that thats just my 2 cents

 

You are better off buying your own hellicopter and having an "On Call" Doctor. You would be getting rid of all kinds of bills that way.

According to a hospital though a tank of gas for a copteris 35,000 and a tank for an ambulance is 800, so I dont think I would try filling up there. They really need to lower gas prices at hospitalls. I think I would be complaining if I had to fill those up. Haha...

 

WR. I understand exactly what you're saying my hospital bill from mine and swt poet accident was well over $ 80,000 and tri-care, Military coverage has not paid the bill yet, have been hounded to death with this and am working with them to get it resolved. Just out of curiosity, which hospital in Georgia was it. Considering our accident was on Blood Mountain in north Georgia. Just wondering if we ended up at the same hospital

Thank God I have insurance! With three kids (two in braces), a hypochondriac step-daughter, a wife who rides a motorcycle, and myself...I couldn't afford to live without it. I mean, ****, it costs like $25 for an aspirin at the hospital. A complete bunch of crap, if you ask me! The greatest country in the world, and we can't provide a better health care system for our own? I better quit before I try to turn this into a political thread...which is against the rules.
