I shrunk my skydive dvd onto my computer and now i am wanting to convert it into wmv format for free of course but the programs i have used so far all have typing on the screen that says plrease register yadayada on the screen. Is there any program that does not have this or should i just pay for the damn thing

But you can use Windows Movie maker.

 

Depending on the file size, www.zamzar.com. I think you can do up to 100mb files for free, and you don't have to worry about installing anything. It converts almost any format to almost any other format, works great for me.

 

why not wmv.. i dont really care what format it goes into i just wanted to be able to post on internet. ive never uploading anything from dvd before.. just not too sure. thanks cateye im going to try that out. My buddy just told me itunes????

 

you will have to get it so small b4 you will be able to upload it to most sites, which will compress n convert it to flash anyways. Use windows movie maker since its alreay on your computer n does a descent job.

I just prefer avi over wmv. AVI is more universal than wmv which is a Windows format.
