Ok guys so i'm pretty new to bikes been riding for 3 months and and haven't had much experience working on them so that's why i'm here.So I bought my 2001 f4i 3 months ago and i noticed the after market fairings didn't fit to good so when my headlight went out last week i decided to convert this baby into a streetfighter. So what im needing help with is how to wire up the new headlight

so after i pulled off the front fairing/headlight assembly i noticed the bike wouldn't start so with a little bit of research i found that it was becuase of the tip over sensor i believe its called so my solution was putting a wire into the pins of the red/white wire going to the green wire found here


so what i need to know is how to install that headlight i linked earlier and making sure ive done so far is ok so i dont die. sorry this is so long

Hey I actually bout my 04 as a street fighter and am looking to convert back to all stock what do you plan on doing with all your old pieces? I have aceribs head light currently that's all wired and nothing was cut that I can see but exactly are you looking to do to it? Maybe we can help each other out as I'm fairly new to bikes don't even see how or where the farings would bolt up too

 

i actually already ordered the same light id be willing to sell the fairing though

 

how much for the fairings? I actually just need all the bolts lol but for a decent price might consider the whole thing
