Whats up everybody I am new to the Honda world and have a question....who can help?

2006 Honda 599 CB600F

when you look up parts do you look it up for a 599 or 600F? I dont ever see them together......Not my bike by the way...

the CB600F is the 599 in the states.

 

599 is a naked f3/f4. Some stuff has older parts (i.e. shocks are f3 era if I remember) but in USA it is a 599 by name

 

In the fiche, it'll be listed as the 600F even though the engine block says 599cc. From what I understand, the reason the bikes are 599cc is because of tariffs. If the engines were actually 600cc, then there would be a higher tariff on the bike... or something like that. It would be interesting to know exactly why things are done this way.

 

Right On! I did find that it is the Hornet CB600F in europe and the 599 in the States......Confusing bastards
