This thread is for CBR owners share their personal experience when riding. How close did you get being in an accident, but quick thinking and reflex got you out. I am talking about the most scariest chit moment EVER.

For mine, I was heading east on Sepulvada Blvd. It's 4 lane east, 4 lanes west. 1 lane in the middle for merging/U turn. I was on the 2nd lane behind a new 2011 charger. I gave it a good 2-3 second cushion. To my left side and Toyota Camry. To my right an older model. We all were cruising like 40-55mph max...some stupid late model Chrysler was sitting in the center lane abrubtly signal right and merge 3 lanes to the right, trying to turn into some Plaza Center. The Charger in front of me did have a chance. He floor te brake and white smoke...both cars to my left & right floor their brakes too. I downshift 2 gears, rear & front brake, then felt my tires hydroplane.....the Charger rear end the Chrysler, the Chrysler was position like right turn, once the charger

Continue: at that particular moment, I'm like CHiT??? Braking all I can...hydroplaning...should I jump?? Luckily the force of the Charger was so strong, his car skid a bit further to the left....at the last moment, I saw a small *** gap between the wreckage of both cars... It's a gap like when you go between cars to get thru traffic, some gap you'll be thinking is it's big enough??? Then thoughts of oil, glass, debris on the pavement? All this was happening like slow motion, but both cars in front is still in motion... I was still trying to brake, hydroplaning. Once I saw that gap open, f**k it, I release the brake, then full throttle, shot myself thru between the wreckage while both cars is still in motion. I was so close, I even smell the coolant steaming!!!! Got home....look at my tires, some broken glass in tread... Said to myself...what the **** just happen?!!!

 

wow....im mean WOW!!!!! I'm a new rider and seriously this is the type of thing that is ALWAYS in the back of my mind. Glad you made it out Ok. I hope that was your last close encounter.
