I figured i would tell all about my near miss a few weeks back. I was stopped at a green light waiting to turn left. I was in the left lane in the proper "blocking position" waiting to turn. Just as i was about to turn, i noticed at the last second some Douche in an S.U.V flying up behind me, He or She (didnt get a look at the driver) passed me on my left hand side as i was about to turn, The SUV clipped my mirror and broke it.
I decided to make an MS Paint drawing of it, to better understand, why, mainly because im bored at work.

All kidding aside, If iwerea couple inches more into my turn, i would havegot hit dead on. Really scary stuff. I finished my turn andpulled intoa parking lot to survey the damage and to recover from the shock.. I should have went after the guy, but i was just to overcome with almost dying, to even think about it at the time.

 

never knew a Porsche & Viper were so square... and how do you know it was a piece of cheese! it could of been a cheeseburger! lol

anywho... glad ur here to talk about it. He was probably on a cell phone, drinking coffee, watching a dvd & looking at his navigation system all at the same time.. he had no time to see if there were innocent motorists on the road! jeeze man cut the guy some slack.

 

My bad, i really should be kinder to the people who almost kill me. Next time i'm almost run over, i'll chase down the driver and be sure to thank him/her.

 

oh and the Porsche and Viper.. they are future concept cars, thats why they're square. only 1 of each exist, and they both happen to be coming in the opposite direction.. just a coincidence.
