WILL A CHAIN FROM A 600RR FIT A 96 900RR

 

it depends what the sprocket size is on the 900RR.. if your 600RR is 525 chain, and your 900RR is 525 sprockets - then yes..
if you know what your sprocket size is (if it's stock, it's 525) it should work, but not entirely 100% sure.. chains and sprockets are all universial, it's just they need to match up with size (525,530,520 etc etc)

chains typically come with 120 links IIRC and then are shortened. Make sure that the length of the chain is close to yours.
