A Boy gets shot by a crossbow
Send them to juvi? No. A near death experience will have a more permanent effect on their future. Now they will be scared to go near the road throwing rocks...and so will every other kid who might have been considering the same type of "entertainment". We had a bus driver killed by a rock throwing juvenile douche bag around here. They should expect projectiles coming back their way.

Hey ,I know they deserve to have there ***** kicked around the block !!!
and....I know the little chits could have killed someone and they deserve to be sorted out big time by the authorities , but hey , really , shoot at them with a deadly weapon ??
any of you guys ever been a kid yourself or had a couple of your own boys ??
A question for you guys ...
If it was your boy and he did a bloody stupid thing like this ... and some one that themselves were not actually hurt by him shot him in the gut in retaliation with a cross bow .!!
Q / Would you be happy he got what he deserved this way???
or would you have preferred that he learned his lesson perhaps from the law and the juvenile authorities ?
Just for I minute , try to put yourself in the shoes of some else other that the poor buggers that had the chit frightened out of them by rocks fly at them ...

aww how sweet, you are very humane and nice. I get what you are saying though, and of course I would not want someone to shoot my rock throwing son. Whatever justice the legal system gives him does anyone else think the archer deserves at least a "good shot" for making a hit with a crossbow from a moving vehicles.

All I have to say is thankfully the injures were not "life-threatening"!
