Kuroshio, I kinda like that explanation haha.

Update for all, I talked to a court Bailiff the other day. He said I should plead not guilty, after which they will send me straight to negotiations with the DA, where I can explain my case and negotiate for traffic school. He said if I do that, they are 99% likely to reduce the ticket to 15-20 over (which is only a 2 point ticket). That would be nice. That's what I was thinking about doing anyway, but the fact that the bailiff also told me to do that, just makes it that much better...
yeah that sounds like a good idea.. Next time you won't let your hand accidentally slip will ya?

That the wheelie was an accident. A recklace driving ticket WAY worse than a speeding ticket.

After 16 years of riding, I don't buy that a wheelie is an accident... 2 inches is one thing, but 2 feet (as stated by the OP) is not an accident.

Most of us push the limits, and try not to get caught... but don't blame the po-niners when you do get caught. That's all I'm saying.

I can understand that, but I have done the same thing on accident. Maybe it is just the Nevada streets that cause it, who knows. All I know is speeding is one thing - reckless driving is one you do not want on your record here. I do think he should get a ticket, just because the more tickets that are brought in the more I know my salary is going to get paid. I like having a job

Well, went to court a couple weeks ago. Went before the judge and plead "not guilty." Which means you go right to the city attorney for negotiations. Got the ticket reduced to 15 over which is only a 2 point ticket. I don't think he radar'ed me as I'm sure he was focused on the front end coming up, but apparently I was "going 70 mph in a 50 mph zone". I don't think so as the fastest I got to before I freaked out because the front end was COMING up was 60 mph, but I didn't want to push things. Reduced a $390 ticket to $205. I guess that's a worthy price to pay considering I now know that my bike will EASILY pull the front end up in first gear. No option for traffic school unfortunately. Insurance might hear about it (maybe, I'm not sure if it's '2 or more' or '3 or more' points that the DMV has to report to insurance). But at least it's all over and I didn't get a "careless driving" ticket on my record.

That is the key right there.

About your insurance. If its your first ticket, or you haven't had any tickets in 3 years it most likely won't be reported to your insurance. In my Car I got a ticket for 15 over almost a year ago and my insurance price never changed, so I'm assuming they never found out. Now if you change insurance you will have to tell your new company about your ticket but if your just sticking with the same one odds are they won't find out. Atleast for a car anyways....
