on average i use about 100 + texts a day .. thankfully i have unlimited messaging

 

Quick question... has anyone picked up the Storm yet? I'm getting ready to order it Friday and wanted to know if there is anything I should be aware of.

 

Im sporting the Storm.. and i love it.
Typical complaints are

[ul][*]Laggy software.[*]Hard to click screen[*]Lags between Landscape & Portrait mode(s)[*]Limited Applications for the Storm[/ul]I dont have any of these issues.. sometimes it seems a tad laggy but its something I can live with.. just keep up with the updates. Your phone will probably come 4.7.65 OS, just update to .75 and keep an eye out for the next.. (I think Dec 22nd)

Hope I helped... I love my storm.. But like I said on the first page of this thread.. its the first set of this model.. there are going to be some bugs to work through, wait out.. if you can handle that the storm is awesome!

 

I love this phone in this order: Dog, phone, wife...hahahaha, just kidding...I think. The only problem is, my wife asks me something every three ****ing seconds. I am plugging away a little at a time and she is killing me with all her questions. Damn. I told her just to start pushing buttons and figure it out. I can't tell her about the things I haven't learned yet.

Just orderedthe Storm today It will be here on the 20th! I'm a newb with these high tech phones so any hints/tricks would be great. Thanks EB for the heads up on the software...i'll make sure to get that updated immediately.

 

I just found out today that I cannot sync my Hotmail account to transfer all my contacts over to the phone. I can get hotmail email on it and reply, but I would have to move my contact list over to Outlook, and I only have Outlook express (which may do in a pinch). Any help? I have look through a couple of forums Ebinz posted, and cannot find my specific situation. I hate to post in there, they may treat me like the ****ing Ultimate Guitar forum [:@]!

I stayed up until 1-2 am last night messing with that GD phone. It blows my mind. I have never had anything so cutting edge in a phone before, so forgive my giddyness.
