to become a yearly tradition
so a good friend of mine struck a deer on his '07 1000RR 9/28/07 and totaled it. he was thrown from his bike and into a guardrail (came out of it pretty well and has since hopped back on a newer bike).
i too, struck a deer on 5/20/08 but didnt total my bike. i got nothing more than a rashed knee and a chipped bone in my left thumb.
we have decided that on the date that each of us hit a deer we're going to go out to a resteraunt and order venison. i said we should each take a clutch lever and use it as a fork, haha. he said he wants to order his rare so he can taste the blood, hahahahaha!
well, i think its a fantastic idea, lol. i'll add below, a pic of his bike and a pic of mine.............

Not a bad idea I suppose, Have a few prongs put on the clutch lever & your away. The only Deers we are ever likely to run into here, are the Dears (old ladies), now probability of hitting a Kangaroo or Wombat is pretty high.
