to non op or not
so im deploying next month so the SS and the cbr are going into storage for 7months. what do you guys think. would it be better to put them as non op and not have to carry insurance on them or should i put just comprehensive for theft and damage on them? there going to be in indoor storage, in a gated storage place. what say you cbrf members???

RE: to non op or not
I had a storage unit in Vista for about two years...kept my bike in there the entire time with no problems...SD is relatively peaceful, geologically speaking.
Seems like theft is always an inside job...as long as you don't have a jealous girlfriend or whatever, I wouldn't bother with comprehensive. List them non-op and save a little cash. Anyone trustworthy staying behind?
Hope you have a kick-*** time, thanks for going out there Marine.
EDIT: oh, yeah, hell, if it's only a few bucks a month...no reason not to.

the comp for the bike is like 40 bucks. the ins lady said its because its brand new. and i'm not sure for my car it would drop my payment by 100 bucks so 260 down to 160 and that has my wifes full coverage on it..so im not really sure..but i only have liabilty on my bike now, it actually costs more to put the comp on it. atleast thru progressive any one have another good compay?
