I feel ya on losing money. You're clearly an intelligent person when it comes to numbers, so I feel like I'm not arguing against agnst here. You know what you can and can't do with your money so I'll leave it up to you.

One number that most people forget about when they think about money though is 1 : the number of opportunities we have to live this life! It's not a dress rehearsal!

I'm not saying go out and blow the load. Some people have a spending problem where they don't understand what the importance of saving vs. spending is. You are not that person. It doesn't hurt to step outside your limit every now and then just to remind yourself where you stand.

 

yea my step dad has worked for about 50 years on diff jobs and most of the time 3 at a time. so now he bought a cobra mustang, a brand new 24ft boat, a prowler. and he is enjoying every min of it.
dont wait. but dont hurt urself financially. vp said it best "you know what you can do with your money"

But sounds like you got what you want insight and do whats best for you.

 

I like the Aprilia, but I like the naked or semi-naked one a little more. All the plastics and stickers look kinda alike to me. I like seeing the frame and motor a little more as I get older. But maybe tomorrow I'll ride over and look at the MV, I may not care for it if I sit on it and such.

 

I feel ya Jester. When I went to Laguna Seca, my buddy let me ride his Aprillia, and it was something. You wouldn't want to ride it on an extended trip, but it was amazing! He dropped it while trying to put it on the trailer and broke the right mirror, scratched the tank, and cracked his windscreen...too bad!
