Default Back pack

Anyone know of a durable, compact, comfortable, and affordable pack that you would recommend me purchasing?

If you're not looking for a riding specific bag, I'd recommend a DaKine... the Helipack especially: http://www.dakine.com/snowboard/packs/snow/heli-pack/

I've had this little bag for over 3 years now and there's almost little to no wear on it through countless tossing, sliding, kicking, snowboard spills, etc. It's not that good as a book bag as it can probably hold 3 textbooks tops, but it comes with a water bladder and the hose comes out the strap so you can hydrate on the go. The design's been updated since I bought mine, but I ebay'd mine for like $60 or so, iirc.

If you're looking for a riding specific bag that can expand and hold your helmet, I've seen one by Icon that was pretty neat and I know Alpinestars makes one that's pretty good as well, but both are of those are upwards of and over $100.

If you're looking for a purse, I'd recommend Prada or Burberry.

i've got an abercrombie bag I really like, it doesn't fit too bad, and it's got the correct straps to keep it where it belongs. but I don't believe they make it anymore, it's probably the one product they made that wouldn't fall apart after 2 weeks.

the a*'s one is pretty cool, I eyeballed one when I was in chicago the other week.

Icon makes a quality product. Their new mil-spec vest has a bag that will fit up to like a 15" laptop I believe.

Damn... that Heli pack looks to be the same thing as the A* pack and is less than half the price!! Nice find.
