To answer your question, flash suppressor should not alter your pattern a bit. By the time the suppressor does its job the bullet is clear.

I got a Rock River and love it. For plinking it's accurate as hell. Ammo used to be reasonable And don't know what some of ya'll are smoking but a hollow point 62gr .223 will lay the biggest deer we got in Georgia on their ***. Maybe not the best moose rifle but for game under 500 pounds it ain't a slouch. Double tap works brilliantly and no longer have the red lasar ... now got the green lazy beam[8D]

To the original poster, my favorite flash hiders are the Yankee Hill Phantom or the Smith Enterprises Vortex. I don't know your state or if they allow them, but you may want to give them a try. Are you looking for just a flash hider or a compensator or brake?
i have seen that yankee hill one, and it looks good. i had that idea on the back burner. the vortex thing just doesnt look fancey enough haha.

Hey Hatebreed,

The Vortex is the most effective I have seen with the Yankee Hill a close second. I have all Vortex's now, but ran Phantoms for a long time.

hahahah omg you just made me feel like an idiot lol. thank you for pointing that out. hahaha you swicthed the light bulb on, i should have known that. i thought about those high speed cameras and the bullets leaving the muzzle, the bullet gets like an inch outa the barrel by the time the gas comes out.
