I'm not worried about the bolt at all. My work has me well educated on bolts and metal in general. The bolt that is supplied is good. The question I have is the design. If it's a poor design... too long or not thick enough... then I'd have a problem. But this forum is one of the places I checked with when I was buying the Vortex and several members claimed they were great.
