i have noise canceling ones, for what you want Z dont get those.

i will say tho that while in quieter atmospheres you can flip the canceling on and get great quality of of them. they might not have the hardest hitting bass but every note is clear and crisp.

 

Its one thing to be a music junkie, and another to be an audiophile. Checkout a website like http://www.head-fi.org/ where these people have tried near every headphone out there, and have many useful reviews..

I have ordered a couple budget pairs as suggested on here and have yet to be disappointed, but a fair warning is that you may have never heard of the ones they suggest, I know I haven't heard of most of them..
