American IQ Test

RE: American IQ Test
I got 21 out of 25. I missed 4, 9, 12, 19.
But there are problems that ensue with this test.
Number 7: What denotes Standard? I'm assuming a matchbook and not a box. That would denote where the 20 came from.
Number 14: Which side of the fan are you on? What if you're behind the fan?
Number 15: How many sides does a stop sign have... Let's see, there's 8 around it then there's the face and the back, so that would be 10. But it could also be 2, just front and back sides... I figured it would be 8 but I thought I might screw myself on that one cause there wasn't enough information to logically answer.
Number 17: What denotes standard for car wheels? I work at a tire center(Discount Tire Company), and I see more 5 lug cars than anything else, so I assumed it was that. That's the only reason I knew the answer.
Number 22: Cords actually go through 2 sides of a venetian blind... The one you pull is on the left, but it doesn't say the one you pull... I assumed that that was what it meant but still.
Number 23: Theoretically, there are more buttons on a touch tone phone than 12. Talk and end, or the single talk/end button... But again, assumptions got me to answer correctly.
Number 25: I was assuming they meant mechanical merry-go-rounds. Because manual ones, like in a playground, go both ways.
As you can see, there are inherent flaws with this test. Most people just overlook them, some people just don't care and some people read way to much into things(I'm obviously one of those people).

RE: American IQ Test
17/25 I missed 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 21. But come on guys I know we're all smarter than the average people......We all ride Hondas for one, that at least makes us a little smarter.
Good test, I found on similar on a different forum that was really hard, I got like 3 out of 20 but I was riding a Kawi at that time so thats probably why LOL.
