I agree for the most part but I still think you will sorely miss the original brick and mortar business if it actually ever disappeared. One reason (many more which I won't go into) is even if you don't buy the product from them, it's the best way to actually get your grubby little hands on the actual product to get a real feel for it before you make the purchase .. I do that all the time; for example, on my digital camera I did all my research online and then went to brandsmart, best buy, circuit city to test the camera to make sure it's what I wanted before I made the final purchase online. There's no substitute for physically messing with the thing vs. looking at a tiny pic online. Once in a while you get a knowledgeable, friendly dood to help and/or a special comparable deal as well. Besides, target has some hawt womienz walking around

Most dip****s think that just because they show up for work they are entitled to a free paycheck and a $3000 bonus check every month without having to lift a finger... man I hate that. When I was a sales person, I led the copmany in sales statewide and also was consistently number one in customer service scores... THEY GO HAND IN HAND. Unfortunately most people don't have the ability to think more than 15 minutes into the future when their lunch break is or when it's time to go outside and hangout with their ex girlfriends best friend who they're trying to hook up with (or some bull like that)
My Human Resources class Professor had a name for this particular breed of employees, he called them the "98.6's". These are the unfortunately common (but more recent) breed of employees that feel like just because they show up to work with a 98.6Ëš Temperature then they are entitled and have a right to higher pay, better hours, more time off, etc.. etc..

Agreed. So lets get rid of the employees and have an empty store. I have to help my self any ways. The only time I need them is to unlock something.

2. Customer service. Who on here can walk into a chain elect store and get service. Hell even if you tell the dip**** you're going to buy something, who can get service? I know I cant. Dam ****s will be walking around (if they arent hiding in the lounge) talking on their motha****in cellphones.

Who said they need to be payed $8 or more an hour to stand around doing not a god damn thing. Hell retail stores would make more money if they didnt have "sales people" or I like to shorten to "****s". Even checking out is an expericence on another level. It doesnt ring up, wrong price on the wrong item, the sale price isnt showing up. A damn middle school child could do a better job as a "****s" and wouldnt mind being payed $4.

According to your first post, that's the way it is now anyway! [8D]
I say leave the dip****s there so people continue buying from them so you and I can continue using them as our research labs before we buy online

Anyone else love those self check out lines? My brother and father think I'm an ******* for using them exclusivly. If the employees had one tenth of the customer service skills the automated check out machine had, I'd use them.

whats the deal with wal-mart closing the self checkout lines after hours? I mean, it costs less to have 5 registers open that needs only one person to run... making customers wait around so they'll buy more is bull **** most people are beyond that
