Dumb bitch pulled right in front of me making a left hand turn. I was looking off in the distance, then saw ooooooo.........a big *** white pickup in front of me. Slapped the brakes and swerved to the left. I was just a few feet away. I should have turned around and asked her how it would fell to go to jail for manslaughter, but I was on a mission.

It's called reserve. And you keep it if you have your brains about you. People will do it whether they mean to or not. A reminder to the driver to keep an eye out by personal conversation or otherwise may yield a OMG I'm sorry response as opposed to a finger and the 'F you' response. I don't bother to give the finger anymore. Been there... done that... and it gets you no where but a pissed off cager.

taken out? daily occurance here...yeild sign shmield sign...i was on the loop this evening and had traffic stop coming over a hill, blazer in front of me had no brake lights...glad i was watching. try to anticipate everything that can happen, and give yourself outs. ride in the middle lane or left lane so you can have 2 outs instead of 1 and keep an eye on ALL the cages.

ride it like their gunning for ya and keep it shiny side up!

 

i never try and ride in the middle lane because i always feel vunerable from both lanes changing on the inside. its always the fast lane for me less chance (if any) for people to pull out in front of you.

yeah, always evaluate specific to your surrounding conditions...we have turning lanes as a median so the left lane is also good for me most of the time.

 

Sometimes I get into that same mode...just enjoying the ride and then WAKE UP!!!

 

My eyes weren't wondering. I was looking at the red light and all the cars there ahead of me.
