Default Out Today

Just a short run. 140 mile round trip of some of my favourite roads.
It rained, I got cold and wet, but the sunny spells made it all worth while. I never felt more alive.
Who said the over 50s should learn to behave?

Abacus, You and I can join the OGCBR1000FC the "Old Geezers CBR 1000F Club" Just because we're over 50 doesn't mean we have to act that way ! (I'll be 19 next birthday, at least that's what I keep telling myself, but somehow the wife's a bit sceptical) he he
Good for you, and nice pics !!

The photos were taken on the Horseshoe Pass North Wales near Llangollen. I'm really lucky to have such an area so close to home.

I did take more pictures but managed to place a finger in front of the lens[:@]

WOW, incredible nice. You should have to pay aLOT of extra tax just to live near this :-) I looked up the place now on Google Earth, where there also are a lot of pictures from the Llangollen area. This would be a great place to visit. I've been to the Lake District and a few other places in the UK, and would love to go back some day.

I was out not too long ago myself just to terrorize the country side!!

Too old?? 50?? HA! I'm the youngest of the group I normally ride in, and I'm 37. My buddies are mostly ex-racing and some are still racing. Motocross Racer buddy is 51, and another buddy of mine that goes riding on his SV1000 is 57. There is normally around 9 of us, and I'm always the youngest! I think that is good riding company though, they have been around and can always teach you something if you pay attention.

One thing I also learned, u geezers like to fly!! There is a group of guys also that I come in contact with from time to time, in their 60's on BMW's. All u have to do is inspect their tires from their morning ride, they are railing and hauling too!! Age has NOTHING to do with it!!! I just hope that I can continue riding well into my 70's.. 80's.. Well, maybe 90's..
