Default Alarm Systems?

I'm on the search for an alarm for my bike. I came across Talon Motorcycle Alarm Systems.

http://www.talonalarms.com/

Anybody ever heard of them? If you have an alarm, what kind?

Default RE: Alarm Systems?

when i bought my bike is was bone stock, except for a Gorilla alarm. i have no complaints about it.........it does what it needs to do. it makes loud *** noises when my bike is tampered w/ and it is an inexpensive alarm compared to most. i bought my g/f one for her F4i for xmas ($100). i think spending $3-400 on an alarm is a bit much....just my opinion. if someone wants to steal the bike, a **** load of noise and cellphone button kill switch alien lazers arent gonna do anything.

i like my simple inexpensive alarm b/c it is basic....turn it on, turn it on EXTRA sensitive, and turn it off.....those are its features. all i want it to do is make noise and it does it well

I like my Scorpio Remote. I can use the remote and visually check that the bike is still where I left it since the remote links a signal with the bike and tells me if the signal is lost. It works great inside movies, stores, etc. It will, of course, page me if something happens, and I like the perimeter alarm (just walk up close enough it goes off). I got it off eBay used, so it was only around $200.

A thief will generally steal thebike NOT making all the noise.
