27 Deg where I'm at. jacket and pants kept me toasty, but I need to get some decent winter gloves... my fingers felt like they were gonna fall off!

Beautiful weather though, not a cloud in the sky.[8D]I'm thinking I might do it again tomorow

check out the gloves i linked in a above post. they are only $35 and worth every penny. invest in some glove liners (mine cost me $5 at a local army surplus store) and if the your fingers do get chilly you can insert the glove liners. the A* gloves are windproof, waterproof and have a fleece inner liner!

Yeah, I forgot to mention, thanks for the link, good stuff there.

I was wearing my JR Honda gloves, with my military cold weather liners, but the wind goes right through the liner when you have that "ram air scoop" on the knuckle guard on the gloves.
I'll see if I can find something to put over the gloves to make them windproof for tomorow. (even with the liners the gloves are relatively confortable, but I wouldn't try putting something else in there.

I'll probably stop by the shop for some gloves tomorow after work.

Just wondering: I like to ride no matter the temp. but does anyone ride when it is a bit salty or on a dry day after snow and there is that white "salty" look to the road? I just got my bike last march and have avoided those days thinking it would rust out critical parts and dont know if it really is that much of a problem.

^^ Just rinse the bike off thoroughly every day after you ride, and you'll never have to worry about rust from salt.
