What's funny is that I'm only 30 and I remember when I could get a gallon of gas and a pack of smokes for $2. (not kidding)

It almost always cost me $11.50 to fill my civic and get a pack of camels. (camels were $1.28 but store brands were .99c)

This was 1996. I swear I'm not old!

I remember those days. In the year my bike was made a gallon of gas and a pack of smokes cost under $1.00 each. Filling the tank was pocket change. Now a day ride costs me at least $40. Fortunately, I quit smoking several years ago.

Man... us old people and our stories.....

I wonder if they used to pay Shadow to take the gas and smokes?

(I bet Pete remembers when pennies were taped to packs of smokes as change... seriously... lol)

And yeah, Tim... for quite a while gas was .99c/gal for 87 and I was all proud of my Civic Si only costing $10 to fill while all the big cars cost almost $20!

Last night it cost me $59 to fill my Jeep.

no kidding, cost me 20 bucks in premium to fill my tank, i know its a bigger tank than the f3 but really???!!!

all last summer it was right around 12 dollar fills. when i got my license premium was under $3.00, i think like 2.40 that quickly went to 2.80. Its around 45 cents cheaper from kentucky down than in ohio also.

oh and.... nice F2 man, gotta love that color scheme

How much is the gallon over there?
You want highly inflated prices?

Here in Portugal it's 1,52e the liter

1gallon=3,79liters

3,79x1,52= 5,76euro

5,76euro = 8,29Us

That's what I pay for 1gallon of gas!

Went to fill up before work Sat and the guy said he was out of gas. I asked him why he bothered opening. Turns out he wasn't out of all gas. He was just out of cheap gas. Only thing he had was 93 @ $4.10 (I think).
