Been away from here for afew years. Been riding Harleys.yeah I know. Lol.but anyway. Starting to get that rr itch again. Tears me up everytime I walk pass one. I've had 2 rr's a 05 and 07. Been looking for 10 now. Anyone know of any good deals on an 10. Or 11 let me know ..oh I'm in Myrtle beach. SC

Hey guys. Tx for the welcome back. Wife's not too happy with me wanting another rr.lol. but u know it's not what u need it's what u want. Im 46 now and only going to be here once sooooooo lol. She'll get over it.what year should I really go for when looking for a used one?

They did a complete makeover starting with the 08+. Smaller, lighter and more power than previous years. Due to the redesign, the 1000RR won the Superbike Smackdown competitions in '08, '09 and a close 2nd in '10, despite having not made any major changes since the 08 redesign.
Some say the 08s have an oil burning problem, although I have one with 19,000 miles and it doesn't burn oil.
