I will most likely be taking the ERC (Experienced rider's class). You bring your own bike to do some exercises. I just got the bike insured today (liability and comprehensive coverage) and will have it titled and registered by monday or tuesday.

Question though, as far as tires go I'm not really sure what to get. When I got track tires for my car I did a lot of research and made my decision based on the online stats and what not. Stock tire is a 180/55ZR/17, but I was told going to a 190 or 200 tire would be better...

Right now I'm looking at buying these...

No, it isn't. Stick w/ the 180.

Congrats on your new bike. I think you make a good choice.

Yeah stick with the 180. The Pure is an awesome choice, that will be the next set of tires on my bike. Welcome to the forum!

i beg to differ!!!! i have had several 180's and 190's and i think the 190 is way better for more feel on the road, as she is a little larger bike than some it gives you more contact on the road, it feels a bit to glitchy in a way with the 180 on it. matbe its just me!!!!
also, in my manual it says that the stock rear is a 190/50/17.

Finally took some pictures of my bike I will post a link to a photobucket album in a few, but in the meantime I have a question.

I have an appointment at DGY (my local motorcycle shop/dealer) to install my new tires. My front brake pads look like they don't have very much life left in them and are making a "swoosh swoosh swoosh" sound at lower speeds and sometimes squeeking. What kind of brakes should I get? Not looking for anything "race-like," but I don't mind spending a pretty penny on nice brake pads. I'd like to have them installed while I'm there with the tires.

Thoughts on brands or types? Links would be nice!!

* Uploading pictures to Photobucket now, along with 2 videos. Would be done in two minutes, but I'm at work with a slow DSL connection fail.

Enjoy!

Thank you!!! I wasn't planning on buying a silver bike, but god do I love the color. I MAY eventually buy flat black fairings. That was my original intention.

That is nice. I like it.

Honda factory pads are good. In fact, I'm running Honda pads on my F4 & RC51 right now. There's always aftermarket like Brembo, Galfer, & EBC.

Was thinking about going with EBC. Found some on sale for $28/pair. Seems fair to me!
