Default Yeah or Nay

Hey everyone! Been on an '83 Suzuki GS 750 since licensed in '99. Just picked up a '99 CBR 900RR in Sept. Just wondering how this year stacks up against other CBRs?
Cheers.

Hi and welcome to the boards. The CBR900RR is a great bike. It's not exactly a great starter bike, but since you've been riding the GS since 99, it's a good step up for you. It's alittle heavier and more comfortable then the 929 & 954 in my opinion. I have a 95 and love it. Just take your time getting used to it and ride within your limits.

The 98-99 CBR900's are the best of the bunch. They don't have the power of the newer models but they have the best feel of any of them to date (IMHO). Rock solid with zero defects.

I've got 55,000 plus on my 98 and it's still going strong.

Thanks everyone! I know, I already love the bike! I'm just sorry I picked it up so late in the season. Hope it's a short winter!!

RM -- buy warm stuff and ride, ride, ride! As far as you choice in machines goes: Anything on 2 wheels is better than riding in a cage. Enjoy my friend!!
