Default Total noob

Just bought my first motorcycle yesterday (1989 CBR 600F). Paid $200 so, it needs some work. I'm no stranger to two wheels or elbow grease. Successfully rebuilt my car with no prior training and have done 50+ mph on a bicycle. Was mainly looking for a fuel saver and a co worker talked me into this buy. I once put a two stroke engine kit on a bicycle but the local authorities couldn't figure out if it was street legal so, they told me not to run the engine. I think i will enjoy my CBR.

Welcome to the forum Justin.

$200 bucks is awesome, if it runs. Good luck with it.
50 mph on a bicycle? Good god man, that's fast on a bike!

Where in the world are you?

Welcome to CBRF! I think you'll enjoy the CBR too. Throw up some pics. Bikes are easier than cars, so you should have no problems

Welcome to the CBR Forum Justin,

Lots of knowledgable guys on the forum so ask any questions you need. Perhaps start a build thread for your bike.

Cheers, SB
