synthetic oil
whats up fellow cbr'ers. I have heard conflicting info about using synthetic oils in the cbr600rr. so if you guys can give your input on this issue it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Welcome to the Forum, I 'm one of those who is not super fussy about Synth or Dino
...... my thing is change the oil often at a reasonable cost with a good filter !!
So I choose Dino - Rotella- Castrol 4T etc etc .......basically whatever is a good deal
and does not have friction modifiers aka "energy conserving" on it !

I ride an F4i, so I dunno if your question is 600RR specific, but I'm a big fan of full Synth, when I got the bike I switched out the Gn4 for Amsoil, and I felt a big difference in the shifts. Yes, It's expensive, but the way I look at it my bike is worth it
Since Rotella is marketed mostly towards farmers and other heavy equipment operators, it's not very expensive compared to "motorcycle" oil -- and you can buy it in 5 gallon pails
Find a good sale and a hundred bucks a year will put full synth Rotella T6 in 5 bikes, a quad, and a garden tractor . . . for example
