Smile Supp fellas

Hey guys whatsup ..
Looking at some bikes and came across the 929RR .. Its got a wierdo history so that makes me especially weary but the deal is killer so im stuck .. Hopefully some of you all can help ..So as much as i know its 01 929rr , Rebuilt/salvage , Supposedly done right . Full exhuast with PCIII , chrome swingarm , wheels and other tid bits and a pearl white paint . Oh the biggest concern of mine . 32k on the clock . I've owned bikes before never Honda So this is all greek to me . The owner doesn't know much about the History except and old buddy of his use to own it so that's another thing .. i inspected it by naked eye didnt crack no cases or bolt but it didn't seem to be leaking started up sounded good but am going to test ride it today and probably purchase . Heres a crappy pic of it so far .. I'm worried the valves or none of that stuff been maintained and am not really looking for a winter project .. Thanks in advance to all that might be able to guide me into right path ..

32k is up there, not to say it won't be just fine though. If you're half way savvy at taking things apart, do just that and look at everything. It's definately been lowered, you may not like that and that chrome in addition to the fact it looks kind of silly, will be tough to keep clean unless you're not picky. Half way decent looking bike though man, it's unique!

Welcome to the forum. We need more 929 riders here. If everything looks good and the test ride (hopefully more than around the block) goes well the choice to buy or not is up to you. 32K miles is not a lot for a 8 year old bike. Honda makes a great product. My only concern would be the Salvage title. I never liked to consider either a bike or a car with a salvage title. Let us know how it goes.

Well guys just brang her home ,,, wierd transition since i've been Yamaha rider my whole life basically .. Any how this bike seems to be more show then Go . So i can't wait till winter to tear it down and see what kinda lovin it needs .. So far havn't touched it just put about 150 miles on it .. Need a front rotor and caliper , doesnt feel to stable on the braking with just one side. Any how hope im not going to be too much of a pain with my asking alot of questions .. Figure this is the best place to ask so look forward to it ..my 2001 929 Custom Cocaine White paint job , Chromed out except for the frame .. Akrapovic Ti Full Exhaust with PCIII. thats really about all .. heres a pic of exhuast side ..Am thinking of pulling the Ti pipe off and go with a chrome one to blend it a little better ..
