Default still working for a bike

i posted up about a month ago saying how i wanted a bike...well last night my friend let me ride his cbr 600 f4...wow! did i fall in love. he will sell me his bike for 3,000 and i have 1500 towards it right now..wish me luck on my money making and hopefully i'll be on the rode with it next season

Stay away from the strip joints and the bars and you be riding before you know it. First bike? The F4i really does everything well, you'll be happy with your choice.

i firgure in order to save money..don't leave the house lol. just go to work, school and come home...i only have one problem with the bike situation....my mom is terrified...does anyone have any idea's on howto make my mom feel any better

Parents are always worried about their kids... there's not much you can do to help ease it along. Best thing I can recommend is not give her a reason to worry, don't go speeding off, don't come back with stories about doing wheelies and/or how fast your bike went that day. Heck... if you can, get your mom into motorcycles. Pick her brain and find out what she would like as a bike. Hell, take her with you to take the MSF course. She may feel out of place and try to turn you down at first, but keep the pressure on and make sure she knows you want her to go and think she'd have fun. Since they provide the bikes and people of ALL skill levels are there, she won't be singled out. It's been my experience that the more you bring someone into something you love, the more they appreciate it themselves.

That... then get your mom to buy your old bike so you can buy a new one... That's what I did. Now she cruises around on the thing with my dad, back and forth from work, all over the place.

take the MSF that will 'help' ease her worries, and help you tons as a rider.

Ease her worries by taking the MSF and making gear a part of your investment. Lots of gear. Welcome!
