Should finally be here! this is after chopping the seat and tail, as well as removing all the lighting and bars and dash stuff off the front. no lights anywhere on the bike at the moment. I think it'll end up more of a modern cafe than true streetfighter, i like the low bars. i have painted the gas tank as well, flat black (because who has time to be original? ;D) pics soon. thanks all for the welcome and the advice to use photobucket, made resizing the itouch pictures a hell of a lot easier!

feeling kinda screwed over!
>going to look around for a better section to post this as a new thread, but who doesn't like whining about how things are always going wrong?
went to the dmv, fellow didn't pay registration from FEBRUARY. and he didnt take the time to file a non-op. dmv says 214$ to cover the fees and get it titled in my name. asked the guy i bought it from about it and he said "we considered that in how cheap we sold the bike," but he sure as hell didn't take the time to mention it.
further! in my ineptitude, after reading an awesome how to on cleaning the carbs and being all ready, i had no idea how to get the dang things off hahaha sprayed down into the throttle flap wajigs (would love any and all correction on my misuse of terminology) and it loosened up considerably. hooked it up to the battery in my truck and got it to at least idle roughly. I cant help feeling like the vacuum and fuel hoses aren't all kosher with the initial plan, but the original diagram sticker on the airbox is unintelligible at best. i say that because once i felt comfortable with the idle, i poured some seafoam in and tried to restart it; turned over but wouldnt catch for anything in the world. thoughts?
