Smile Soon to be CBR owner!

Hey everybody, as usual when looking to buy a ew bike I've scoured the internet looking at specs, prices and reviews. I found a 99 CBR 600 F4 in Sunset Yellow for sale, and the bike almost totally stock with 23000 km. One small crack at the front right turn signal (which I will be looking for the best option to fix.) the bike has been lowered, but comes with the stock links, has brand new Michelin Pilot Power tires and a new chain. The battery will need to be trickle charged or replaced, not sure which yet (common in Canada, especially when people don't winterize right) but besides that it's in great shape.
This is my first Honda, I've had am 08 EX-250 Ninja, an 01 ZX6-R (highly modified) and I also have a 78 KZ400 Cafe Racer, a 2000 650 V-Star Custom and a 74 MX250 twin shock.
I have searched through the CBR 600 F4 section of this forum quite a bit for future mods to the bike, and people here seem to be pretty respectful and helpful (I've seen lots of forums littered with d-bags) Looking forward to being a CBR owner and a CBR Forum member!

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for the comments regarding our helpful nature.

I have a 2000 F4 in 'Sunrise' yellow. ;-) F4's are great bikes. Last of the carb'd CBR.

When are you getting the bike?...or have you already gotten it?

I'm picking it up tonight. I do know the bikes a bit already, and I knew I wanted a carby, don't want to deal with the hassle of EFI. I will try to get some pics up over the next couple of days.

Just picked up the bike. Have to repair the fairing at the front right turn signal, and the battery is on charge. I will try to post some pics over the next few days.

^^ Sorry about the double reply, when I checked the forum after I picked the bike up the one hadn't been posted yet because it had to be moderator approved. I guess I'm on noob probation lol.

Sorry about the crappy iphone picture, but my camera is broken Here's the bike as I got it (although I removed most of the duct tape around the front signal to assess damage) I have since taken the front fairing off and tried my hand at plastic welding to fix the crack. I'm pleased with the results, but I'm not going to jump right on to body work and touch up paint since I'm probably going to replace the fairings. I just needed it fixed to the signal wouldn't flop around at the safety inspection.

Sans the fairing crack at the light, its a nice looking F4.
