seat lock

Default seat lock

Can someone tell me where the seat lock is on a 92 cbr 600 f2?

There is no seat lock on an F2. You have to remove the two fairings (one on each side) that run below the seat and then the two bolts (one on each side) that hold the seat on to remove it. Hope this helps and welcome to CBRF!

^^ Yep, this.

I know my F2 buddy was quite jealous the first time he realized that the seat on my 1000F came off with a turn of the key.
Not sure why they didn't do that on all the bikes. Wouldn't have been hard...
Anyway, welcome to the forum!

You can always fabricate a quick release system - I did, it's cheap and it works really well:
