Rusty tank
Hi I’m new here but I have a 600 f4i and to my horror ( after I put fuel in and tried to start it ) 😣 my tank is a rusty as hell and now sucked all the crap up any ideas please best my to clean the tank to remove heavy rust ? Thanks in advance
Naval jelly/phosphoric acid. Available at Home Depot as concrete cleaner/ stain remover. Read label, verify it's phosphoric acid since muriatic acid is also used for same. Phosphoric acid has preferential attack on rust and stops when it reaches good metal. No other acid does this.

Another method is electrolysis:

If you want to coat inside of tank afterwards, stay away from Kreem or Red Kote, they peel off after couple years and clogs things up worse than rust! Use only POR-15, they have multi-step process that comes in kit.

+1 on POR-15, my local tank re-sprayers swears by it.
You could always go old school and put a handful of nuts in the tank and shake away, I have heard of people wrapping in a duvet and putting in tumble drier (not sure the misses would be that pleased) then blasting out with pressure washer.

😂 my worries would be greater than a rusty tank if I tried that one … but there’s always the night she goes out 😉

I tried doing a CBR tank in the dryer but was unable as the opening in the door was not big enough. I'm thinking late night at a laundromat might work ok. They have giant dryers. It would be god awful loud though.
