as the tittle says im stuck with a bike with a rusted tank. we figured it was the rust in the tank that was causing all my headaches. does anyone have any suggestions? i been looking at getting a new tank but sont have the cash right now. iv acid washed the tank once already and the rust just keeps coming back. i heard of this stuff called fuel tank liner. its supposed to coat the inside of your tank to prevent further rust. anybody tried this? again any other suggestions would also be apreciated! thanks

 

you could try buying a tank off ebay you can get them really cheap, they might have one little dent in it for 50-60$, i helped my dad put that fuel liner stuff in his welder and it still working great

 

The liner has been around for quite awhile now. Seen it used in all sorts of things. If it didnt work it wouldnt still be around. Id give it a shot. Think about it, even if you buy another tank its the same age and will have the same problem. Line that bitch.
