Is the rust on the inside of the tank? When I took my bike in the other day a guy came in and asked how to get rust out of the tank and the answer was to have is acid dipped and then recoated inside.

He told the guy to go to a radiator shop and thed do it but there was a chance the paint on the tank could get damaged not that it happens often as they should cover it
