Smile Returning to the fold

Hi All, bit of a re-introduction I got divorced 3 years ago and as part of the overall lose house, car, toys etc etc I also had to sell my cbr 600 fk bike that is shown in my avatar as I have a 2021 vfr800 vtec too I didn't have anywhere to store both bikes and also the inevitable solicitor bills to pay.
I was gutted to lose her ( the bike lol ) and thought I'd never see Her again !

Three years later and in a better place with a new fiancé' who said if that bike ever came up for sale again we would buy it back a mate of mine messaged me and said is that your old bike on ebay ? I looked and immediately recognised it and found it had moved to within 5 miles of where I live so inevitably I got it back.
I was ecstatic to find it in almost the condition I sold it in and was told it just needed a battery so bought one fitted it and it started immediately after been stood ages.
The bike died shortly after as the regulator/rectifier had been blown I believe due to jump starting it with a car battery as I was informed.
well now all sorted ready for mot and the better weather so be on here until I can get out, incidentally saved £10 on my insurance putting both bikes on my vfr policy BONUS !

Hope to chat and maybe meet up with some members this summer thats all folks AL

Welcome to the forum! Your story about being reunited with your bike is a good one for sure.
I’ve walked down the same divorce path and can testify that it’s not a fun journey. But it’s one where you’ll grow coming out the other side.
