Default rear wheel width

New to this forum. I have a project and I am looking for a rear wheel. I need some quick dimensions
I need a 17" rear wheel.
what is the distance from the outside of the rotor to the outside of the sprocket? I need something in the 7 1/4" range.
What is the axle diameter?
My project. I bought a 1984 honda 500 XL for cheap. Good runner. It is ridiculously tall. I want to put it on the street so I found an excellent front end, cheap, from a Triumph 600tt circa 2000. Made a new steering stem, it fits well. I removed the mono shock and heaved it into the dumpster. Installed dual shocks. Now I can sit on it and reach the floor. I have a 30" inseam. Since the bike came with frozen carbs, I made a single carb manifold for a 36 Mikuni VM. Plenty of room now that the mono shock is gone. Now I need a rear wheel. The front is a 17" I need one as wide on the rear. I was going to use the Triumph 600tt rear wheel but it is about 1" too wide. Some one told me that a CBR rear wheel would work but I need to know the width. Can anyone measure their wheel and tell me how wide it is. And if it looks like it will work please give year and model so I can hunt one up on EBAY. THANKS.
