Default Questions from Newbe from SO CAL.

Whats up nice site. Ok I am looking into getting a 05 cbr600 the only thing is I cant decide between the F4i and the RR. I dont have any street bike experiance but i do have a good amount of dirt bike experiance. what do you think? I heard that would be good enough to start off with the 600. Also could you steer me in the right direction on which bike to get. And if your from SO CAL or know any places to get a bike can you let me know because mostly where ive gone they want over 10G's. Thank you BTW 21 years old 6' 215lbs if that makes a difference.

Welcome. Go to the 600RR section. There are a few threads there about the difference. Basically the F4i would be the better of the two to start out. Sits up more and easier to ride and handle. Do some searching there are many posts lately about this.

I know what the facts are the F4i has more comfort while the RR is faster but is that really the case how big a difference are the two on both aspects. I have read the articles but i wanna hear it from actual riders

You should just go down to the dealer and find out for yourself. Everyone is different so sit on a few bike to see how comfortable you are.

Before you do anything, sign up for a MSF class & invest in gear. Then i'd look into an older 600F2 or 600F3. Riding a street bike isn't anything like riding a dirt bike. If you are dead set on a newer bike then go with the F4I. It's the lesser of two evils in your case.
