g'day, all, just wanted to say hi, recently bought a beat up '01 F4i, that i am making a semi naked, i cut the side plastics off, fitted polished alloy crash *****, polished the rim edges,repaired the tail,upper front, and little side fairings, have a set of home made under body led stripps fitted, a new ART carbon fibre slip on pipe( sounds bloody horn). cleaned up and matt blacked the exhaust headers, took an aluminium rasp to the scratched stator cover and polished smooth(am a fitter and turner by trade).
am fitting a cbf600 hornet belly pan, and gsxr1000('02) 6pot calipers, with goodridge lines to the front, and am replaceing the poo orange LED's in the dash to high output green leds... when i can find another dash(dont want to accidently kill my good dash).
in the near future am doing a valve clearance reshim,new plugs,K&N filter, and PCIII if i can find one used cheap, also need to replace the the speedo sensor, my speedo keeps going to zero when i am rideing it!!!!... and have to switch the kill switch on and off to get it back....have to that down to a fine art on the move..:P.
the bike also came with a carbon 'look' hugger(yuk) which is going to be repainted, and a tinted DB screen, which i am going to cut down cos i think it looks like a alien from the front.
and the other is my 77 CB750 F1... that i have restored...

cheers all for the 'how ya goin'... yeah i know wot you mean about ppls opinions on the led 'glow'.. mate of mine tells me he will ride on his own if i turn them on!!! though he is only jokeing... i think...*shrug*... will keep posting pics as i go along... as you can tell i enjoy working on bikes... and this bourd has heaps of great info.... cheers again..peace
