The wiring diagram shows where each of the wires from the connectors route to. If you can't replace it, maybe you can repair it. I can't imagine it has that many breaks.
Apologies for my extended absence, like I'm sure a lot of you I have had a **ite time over the past 12 months. Personal stuff, family stuff you know the drill but having the bike project kept me sane and gave me on outlet when I needed it. Anyways, to cut a long story short I have managed to take and pass my bike test, and my CBR is ready for her first MOT for like 14 years. I will post pictures of the rebuild process although I had to admit defeat when it came to balancing the carbs and get my local garage to do it but she does run beautifully now. Hopefully I have attached a picture as a tater, more to follow!
I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1998 Honda CBR 600 F3, which I bought from a salvage company after the poor thing had been abandoned for a decade. I have put a previous post on here about my issues getting the carbs back on with the correct manifold rubbers, and have got her to run after fixing wiring issues changing oil, spark plugs etc. Sorry long story short, the instrument cluster lighting is pants. Only two of the bulbs work so I changed them and the others still did not work. I took out the instrument cluster and removed the printed circuit board (very carefully, I know its not really a board being thin flexy plastic but I don't know what else to call it!) but some of it doesn't seem to be joined up any more as in the circuit has perished and broken the connection (well that's what it looks like). I have searched for a replacement but whilst I can find complete instrument clusters the circuit boards don't look any better than mine and some are worse.
Does anyone know where or if it is possible to purchase a new replacement please? I haven't retried after cleaning all the copper bulb connections and a general tidy up but I am just asking in anticipation of being disappointed!
