Default 1997 cbr600f3

Hi all, i just bought a 1997 cbr600f3. The cluster mounting tabs are broke so i ordered a new cluster off ebay with very close milage will the new cluster just plug right in and work as the old one has? Thanks

If it is the same part #, it should work just fine. If you wanted to, you could put the actual inner workings of the of the old cluster into your new one. It is simple enough, just a few screws. That way you could keep your original mileage.

It would also by-pass any incompatibility issues

Good advice from Hamlin. If you ever decided to sell it, you may run into title issues if the mileage doesn't match.
