I have a 2001 Erion Racing edition cbr 929rr and I'm painting it the colors on the test card I've posted. I would enjoy some feed back on what you guys have to say about it. The designs I've posted is just a rough draft not exact measurements just yet. The letters cbr on the side fairings, the 929rr on the rear cowl, the honda symbol on the tank, and the honda and JDD on the helmet is being airbrushed on. I'll use the silver paint for the letters. The frame is going the dark green i used to break the colors up. I'm painting the rims orange, the spokes are going silver, where the spokes touch the rim, I'm going to line it the green. My upper cowl is broke and I've had to do some work can't really tell unless I've told you about it, so right now I have a r6 mirror I've made fit. I'm painting the windscreen the silver with an green outline. The green will be a very thin line, to break up the orange and white. The blue I traced the frame with, is just because I didn't have a black marker at the time haha. I'm doing all the painting myself and a coworker is helping with the airbrushing. thats great that you are doing the work yourself. colors look very nice and the design is not bad at all. would love to see the finished project but that will come later. make sure you take pics before you paint and during to keep us inthe loop and also after, of a finished project.

Thanks scorpin. Yeah I'm in the process now probably be a month before I'm done hopefully. I'll be sure to take many of pictures haha. I've been painting cars now for 2 years and I just bought the bike a year ago and only being 19 I said what the hell I'd like to customize it alittle. And Asides, idk I just don't like how the whole bike comes together, I'm more of an orange color guy.

the fairing idea is cool but not so much the wheels but either way good that your doing it yourself

 

I had to buy a new frame due to title issue's and this is what really made me wanna customize it a little. there is a crack on the other side but I'm fixing that before paint it.

 

i would leave it. looks pretty good to me.
