newbie needs advice
Hello all, I'm a new rider looking at a 2000 cbr 600f4;I took aexperienced rider along to see the bike with me and to test drive it. He discovered an issue with the front brake(rubbing noise) and said the fork oil might need to be changed, we could not find any leaks or anything like that anywhere. The bike has 26413 miles on it, 2 previous owners and a $2500.00 asking price. Any advice would be appreciated.
My 05 600RR has done that since the say I bought it. It's the HH rated pads and it's expected. You really hear it if you ride beside a vehicle (which you should avoid) or along a jersey wall (concrete walls on the side of highways). The noise will bounce back at you.
The F4 is alot of bike to learn on. Have you considered something besides a 600cc sportbike? BTW, most disc brakes that I have seen make slight contact, I would worry if they are warped.
